COME ON IN and meet FAB (Fairtrade Association Biggleswade) and other local groups at a “Community Awareness Day”.

Every year in early March, FAB joins with towns and groups across the country to celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight. For 2018, events are asking people to “Come on in” and find out more about Fairtrade, the labelling scheme which guarantees that farmers in developing countries get a fair deal in international trade. In Biggleswade. FAB are going even wider, inviting community groups from across Biggleswade to join them to celebrate the work that they carry out and let people know about the wide array of activities that are taking place in the town.

The event will be open between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday 3rd March in the Orchard Centre at King’s Reach Biggleswade and everyone is invited to “Come on in” and find out more about FAB and all the other local groups that will be there. Just turn up on the day or for more information  contact Neil Spencer, Chair of FAB on 07910 211824, BiggleswadeFairtradeown@googlemail.com.
