Since 2007 we have been campaigning for and supporting Fairtrade in Biggleswade. We support the fairtrade organisation and its ideals and objectives, but also local producers and businesses. We have a stall during Fairtrade Fortnight.
A group interested in helping each other and others to use less single use plastics and helping clear up the plastic in and around Biggleswade. Let's create a PLASTIC FREE BIGGLESWADE
A group of people who volunteer their time to assist any resident of Biggleswade who does not have family or friends to carry out basic small tasks.
We work with:
Volunteers Look after gardens in the town and share produce grown there.
Each year we take part in Great Big Green Week with a stall offering activities.
We host an event each year to encourage people to think about the implications of their buying decisions. There are stalls promoting some selected local businesses.
Biggleswade Community Group Support and promote local businesses and organisations, and keep everyone updated about what the offer; both online and offline.
