FUTURE ACTION BIGGLESWADE
Fairtrade Biggleswade
We are a group of volunteers who are actively working towards achieving Fairtrade status for Biggleswade.
We want to see more availability and awareness of Fairtrade products.
Gradually over a period of time the group has broadened it’s area of interest under the Banner “Think as You Shop”. We encourage people to consider the implications of their buying decisions both locally and worldwide.
We still support the fairtrade organisation and its ideal and objectives, but also local producers and businesses.
We care about the packaging that comes with our purchases and the environmental consequences. For instance non degradable particular plastic waste.
We care about the local environment and want it to be well looked after and litter free.
Etc. etc.
So we work as FABWEB, together with other organisations that have concerns in these and other areas.
